Cornelius Adepegba Museum of African Art

Afully operational museum open to the public, featuring over a thousand ethnographic materials and traditional art objects from Nigeria and other African countries, as well as the largest collection of contemporary artworks from the Mbari experiments and Osogbo workshops.

Odinani Museum, Nri

Establishedon March 18, 1972, by the Institute in a hall donated to it by the people of Nri town, represented by the Nri Progressive Union in Anambra State.

IAS Museum Shop

Openedin 2016, this commercial outlet serves a supportive role to the Museum by selling artworks, souvenirs, and gift items. It features both physical and virtual collections, including contemporary and traditional Yoruba and Benin artworks.

Areference library comprising over four thousand titles, constantly updated with new accessions. It holds seminar papers, conference papers, and students' dissertations covering all areas of specialization available at the Institute.

The Studio/Archive of Sound and Vision

Anextremely valuable organ of media resource boasting over 1,000 tapes and recordings of ethnographic and creative productions, including historical narratives, folk operas, music, and incantations.

Anoffice facility equipped with a roundtable and armchairs, made available to visiting scholars, researchers from other institutes, and renowned retired academics to continue their studies, writing, or hold mini-lectures.

Drapers Hall

TheInstitute's oldest lecture theatre with a seating capacity of 63. It is fully equipped for the projection of pictures, sound, films, and stereophonic recordings, making it ideal for public lectures and seminars.

Lady Bank-Anthony Hall

Amain auditorium and gallery seating about 150 people. Fitted with a multi-purpose smartboard and audio-visual projection equipment, it is a favourite venue for university conferences, symposia, and roundtables.

Situatedin the Institute's newest building, this lecture theatre seats about 120 people and is used for seminars, panel discussions, and discursive purposes.
