African Studies, UI Celebrates 2025 Global Black History Month (February 18, 2025)

As the global community celebrates Black History Month, the Institute of African Studies, in collaboration with Tunde Odunlade Culture & Arts Foundation (TOCA-F), Jadeas Trust, Myblak TV, Hospitalifix, and Honor FM 103.5 Ibadan, holds events in the Institute to commemorate the month.

The fifth day of the celebration was “A Conversation Around Chief Wale Ogunyemi (Mon. JP.): A Natural Dramatist and it featured Professor Niyi Osundare, Dr Yomi Layinka, Elder Jare Adewolu and Dele Morakinyo.
